Updates and outtakes from over the past year+

In May 2021, soon after The Underdogs was released, Georgia Dodson started her own senior dog rescue (along with three of her friends) to form “a fierce group of rescuers saving senior pups in the DMV.” They named their new non-profit, Miri’s Haven Senior Dog Rescue, in honor of Miracle the Yorkie. In their first year, they rescued, fostered, and adopted over 100 homeless dogs. Unfortunately, Gray Face Acres, who Georgia previously volunteered with, shut down their Washington, D.C. area operations in July 2022, but they remain active on the West Coast.
